Mitchell Chunky Seat

The ‘Chunky Seat’ has been constructed primarily from locally grown and milled ironbark timber (300 x 300mm slabs). The seat ends have been made from CNC cut steel and purposely aged (rusted) with acid and salt baths, then sealed. The rebates at each end feature hand cut mosaic tiles. The ‘Chunky Seat’ is the principle seat design for the streetscape and features in a number of build outs.
