Kinetic sculpture & public art · Maleny, Queensland
Sculpture where mechanism meets story: kinetic machines, invented histories and public landmarks, designed and built in an off-grid solar workshop.
For thirty years I have built things that move, light up and tell stories: from teabag jigglers to a six-metre town clock and a landmark for Hong Kong's Kai Tak.
Designed, engineered and built in one place
Concept, 3D modelling, engineering, casting patterns, CNC and plasma cutting, welding, electronics and installation all happen in an off-grid, solar-powered workshop in the hinterland above Maleny.
