A sculptural Acknowledgement of Kabi Kabi Country by artist and Traditional Custodian Lyndon Davis, standing at the entrance to the Abbey Museum's new gallery.

artplusdesign took Lyndon's pencil sketch through digital design development, modelling the shields in SolidWorks and sculpting their textured surfaces in ZBrush, then through fabrication and installation. Cast in bronze, the two shields frame translucent panels of direct-printed polycarbonate that carry Lyndon's colours and catch the light through the day.

The work was unveiled on 28 February 2025, with Lyndon performing the Welcome to Country.
